With Indian Banking on the threshold of vast expansion, there is a huge demand for banking personnel with challenging career prospects. Here is a unique opportunity for aspirants for bank jobs at the entry level in 19 Public Sector Banks through a Single Common Examination.
A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks mentioned below.
Clerical Cadre
* Age : Minimum: 18 Years Maximum: 28 Years as on 01.08.2011 (Relaxable as per rules)
* Qualification : Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC / 10 th std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent with 60% marks (Pass for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EXSM candidates) OR HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11 th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern with 50% marks or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking . (Pass mark for SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EXSM ) OR Degree in any discipline
